Resolved: Microsoft Outlook Exchange Sending Error 0x8004010F

Nowadays, multiple users are using Microsoft Outlook for their Business purpose for accessing the emails. Apart from this, most of the users encounter that Outlook errors occur only because of the wrong setting of Outlook profile and mainly wrong basic server inputs that are assigned while creating Outlook profile. After migrating Outlook mailbox to Exchange online or Exchange server, then, Outlook declined to send email messages. These error code becomes hamper while sending or receiving of Outlook messages. The following error message showing 0x8004010F Outlook data file cannot be accessed. Cause of this 0x8004010F Outlook Data File Cannot be Accessed

After analyzing this error, the most interesting fact that this error occurs due to corrupted or damaged Outlook profile or Offline Address Book. Especially, error in Outlook takes place due to the unacceptable settings of address list setting in MS Outlook which is not compatible with Exchange server. It may be missing address list or improper address list in Microsoft Outlook.

Solutions to Overcome Outlook 2016 Error 0x8004010F

Resolving the error code 0x8004010F, users have to recreate a new Outlook account and then, need to set it by default. But, before implementing such tasks, requires to identify the present location of Outlook PST File. Moreover, a solution of 0x8004010F Outlook 2016 are divided into three following steps those are mentioned below:
  1. To identify the current location of Outlook PST file
  2. Creating new Microsoft Outlook account
  3. Keep Outlook Profile Method
I. Identify the present location of PST file
  • First, go to Control Panel option and open the Mail


  • Next, in the new Mail-setup Windows, choose the Show Profile option which comes inside the Profile section


  • After that, users able to view the list of Outlook account that has been configured in MS Outlook, choose an account and then, click Properties option


  • Again, open Mail-Setup on the current screen where users have to choose Data Files option


  • Now, open Outlook account Settings and click on Data files and write down the location and other necessary information about a present location of PST file.


  • Finally, click the close button.


II. Start creating a new Outlook profile
  • Run the first three steps that we have mentioned above and go to the Show Profile option and click on it.


  • Now, click Add to create a new account. After entering the name for new profile and profile is created, a user can delete the previous account. Click OK button.


  • After that, fill the basic server setting details in it and then, click Next button and it will begin to establish the new Outlook account.


  • Finally, complete the process execution and profile configuration of new Outlook account. Click on Finish option.


  • If users need to configure the new Outlook account by default from Outlook. Select the “Always use this profile” option for the Outlook account.


III. Keep Outlook Profile Method
  • First, go to File option and move to Account settings. Click on Account settings.


  • Now, click on Change Folder.
  • Next, select new Outlook Data file and then, create a temporary data files that will be used.


  • After that, enter the desired name for the data file like delete-me and click OK button.
  • If the inbox inside the new temporary data file is not selected, expand the all the sub-folders and choose Inbox and click OK for closing the dialog box and then, return to the account Settings.


  • Again, click on Change Folder.
  • Users can select the data file again and then, expand the desired sub-folders. Select inbox and then, click OK option to close the Window.


  • Next, move to the Data File tab and then, remove the temporary .pst file from users account.


  • In the end, close the Account Settings option.
Note: If this process doesn’t resolve the send error, you have to make a new profile. Delete the temporary Outlook PST file after closing the Outlook profile.
In any case above manual solution fails to work, then, there is not any another way to resolve the error message. At that point, users must go to a third party solution such as Outlook PST Repair software. As it is able in fixing all type corruption issue related to Outlook without any consequences and save them properly.

Conclusion

Nowadays, MS Outlook is most widely used email client among users. However, while accessing this email application, users face various issues those are discussed above. One such error is showing like Outlook mailbox migration to Exchange online sending 0x8004010F due to Outlook emails and other data items have not been accessed from the Exchange server.
